Pricing

Four plans, and what each one costs

One monthly price covers the building, the photographs, the hosting, the padlock and the table bookings. You answer a few questions and your homepage is built while you wait. You look at it and approve it, and one press then builds the rest of your pages to match it, so you have a complete website in under ten minutes. Another press puts it online at a web address we give you, set up with the padlock. If you want a web address of your own, you buy it from a registrar for a few dollars a year so it is registered in your name, and we walk you through choosing it and connecting it.

Prices are in US dollars and you pay monthly. That price is all you pay. Every booking is yours, and you can move between plans whenever you like.

How the counting works

The five things we count each month

We count five things, and each one is named after the button you press. They are pages built, changes made, logo designs, new photographs, and Google and AI checks. Your plan gives you a number of each every month, and the app shows you where you are as you go.

Anything that changes your website counts as one change. Looking at your site, putting it online and undoing a change are all free, as often as you like.

Building a page counts as a page and leaves that month's changes alone. The photographs made for it come out of that month's photographs, and photographs you took yourself are always free to use. If a build fails, you keep everything it would have cost.

Pages built

Every page of your site is written for you from your own answers. One counts for each page we write, whether that is your homepage, your menu page or a new Christmas page. Building the same page again counts again, and it comes back with fresh words and a fresh layout that still matches the rest of your site.

Changes made

You change your site by typing a sentence into the chat box, and you can point at one part of the page first so only that part changes. One counts for each thing you ask for. Updating your menu from a photo or a PDF of it counts as one to read the file and one to save the new prices. Undo gives you the page back, free.

Logo designs

A logo is designed for your restaurant out of your own answers. One counts each time you ask for one. Three are drawn at once and you keep the one you like, so three logos cost one design. A logo you already own is free to upload, on every plan.

New photographs

Photographs are made for your restaurant and your kind of food, for the spots you have no photograph of. One counts for each photograph we make. If you have more than one restaurant, they all draw on the same monthly total. Photographs you took yourself are always free to use and are not part of this number: you can add thirty of your own to each restaurant on the paid plans, and five on the free plan.

Google and AI checks

Before you publish, we look at how your site reads to Google and to AI assistants and hand you a list of suggestions to tick. One counts each time you run that check. The two files search engines look for are written for you every time you publish, and they cost nothing. Reading your whole site takes real work, so this is the smallest of the monthly numbers: one check on the free plan, three on Solo, fifteen shared across your restaurants on Pro, and twenty-five on Max. Ticking the suggestions it gives you is free, so one check usually covers a run of fixes.

Every figure in the table above is a total for the whole plan: the five restaurant plan shares one set of allowances between your restaurants rather than giving each its own. The photographs you add yourself are the exception and are counted for each restaurant separately. Every paid plan builds every page of your site, puts it online at a web address we give you and takes table bookings, and every one lets you connect a web address of your own. Undo, and every earlier version of every page, are kept for as long as your website exists, on the free plan and after a payment fails.

What it replaces

What a restaurant website normally costs, and what it costs here

Normally you hire five different people to do these five jobs, and you pay each of them. Here they all come with one monthly price.

Someone to build the siteYou find them, brief them and wait $1,500+ once
Hosting and the padlockYou renew them yourself every year $12 / month
A table booking systemA booking form and a booking sheet $39 / month
A photographerYou shut for half a day while they work $400 once
Someone to change a priceYou email them and wait for the change $60 an hour
Up front: the site and the photographer $1,900
Every month: hosting $12 and bookings $39 $51

These are rough figures and yours will differ. Either way, you are paying five different people for five separate jobs.

All of it, here

a month, for one restaurant

  • The whole website, written for you
  • Table bookings, however many you take
  • Photographs and a logo designed for you
  • Hosting, the padlock and a web address to go online at
  • Change anything by typing a sentence

Questions

Questions about paying

Yes. You start by answering three questions, and it stays free for as long as you want it. You get one website with its homepage built, three page builds a month so you can start again and see a different look, eight changes a month, and one Google and AI check a month. The homepage comes with real photographs of your kind of food on it, so you can judge the finished page. We ask for a card only when you choose a paid plan.

It builds your homepage, with your menu, your photographs and your opening hours on it, exactly the way a paid one is built. So what you look at is the real thing. Keeping a website online costs us money every day it is up, so going online comes with a paid plan, and so do the other pages, photographs made for your own restaurant, the logo design and table bookings. The photographs on the free homepage are ready-made ones of your kind of food.

Your website carries on exactly as it is, online and taking bookings, with every page still where it was. New changes wait for next month, or for the moment you move up a plan. We show you where you are as you go, so you see it coming.

Your site stays online and keeps taking bookings, and your web address keeps working. Your account goes back to what the free plan includes, so you still have a few changes a month. Putting new work online, new pages, logo designs and new photographs all come back as soon as the payment is sorted.

Every booking is yours. Table bookings are part of the monthly price, and you can take as many a month as your tables allow.

Your site goes online at a web address we give you, set up in one press with the padlock, and that address goes on working after you connect one of your own. A web address of your own is bought from a registrar so it is registered in your name, the way your restaurant name is. What it costs depends on where you buy it and which ending you pick, and it is usually a few dollars a year. Choosing it and connecting it to your site are included, and we walk you through both.

Yes, in either direction. Everything you have built stays where it is: pages, photographs, bookings and your web address. A move up takes effect straight away. A move down takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for. If the new plan covers fewer restaurants than you have websites, you choose which of your websites it covers. The ones it does not cover stay online and keep taking bookings, and they stop taking changes until you move back up to a bigger plan.
